Kitchen Transformation

Our clients contacted us to help them design a kitchen with a more modern look. They didn’t like their existing cabinets and wanted to go with all new cabinetry. We got busy tearing out the flooring, cabinets and countertop to make way for the new. For the new cabinets they went with a slim shaker door in snowbound for the perimeter cabinets, while the island was done in slate.

Next, we installed a new Leathered Quartzite Taj Mahal countertop and a Georama Grigio polished marble tile backsplash. For the new floor, they went with a Bond Nimbus Silver 12×24 matte porcelain tile. To complete this new transformation, we also installed a new custom range hood done in snowbound and agreeable gray with stained white oak banding. Now our clients have the kitchen of their dreams.

Introducing Scott Meyer, new owner of Kitchen Solvers of McKinney and Plano, Texas!

Kitchen Solvers McKinney Plano Owner

Scott Meyer is moving his family and 18 years of remodeling experience from Canada to the United States to open two Kitchen Solvers territories in Texas, McKinney and Plano. Kitchen Solvers could not be more excited to support Scott and his new venture. His wealth of knowledge, skill, attention to detail, and business acumen will help him build his legacy in the kitchen remodeling industry.

Background

Scott has been in home renovation for the last 18 years. He has owned his own business and specialized in basement finishing, bathroom remodeling, kitchen renovation, and custom trim. His commitment to working hard and his high standard for quality workmanship directly align with the Kitchen Solvers core values.

Hobbies and Interests

During his spare time, Scott enjoys doing anything outdoors. Moving to Texas, he’s excited to have more time to go mountain biking and golfing. He also enjoys videography and spending time with his family.

Why Kitchen Solvers

Scott and his wife always planned to move to the United States, and when he found the perfect opportunity to do it he decided to take it. After spending 18+ years on his own remodeling business, being the sole-owner and operator, he decided he wanted to build something that he could grow into a business and start taking more of an ownership role.

When Scott first discovered Kitchen Solvers, through a franchise consultant, he was interested in the ability to do kitchen remodeling, but also have the flexibility of doing other renovations. Since he has a wealth of experience in home renovations, he loved the idea of focusing on one area of the home, but also would have the ability to do other areas. Kitchens and baths, being two of the most remodeled rooms leaves a lot of room for potential.

Scott was also attracted by the freedom to make his own decisions and hire individuals to help take some of the time commitment off of his plate. He is looking forward to spending more time with his family and building up a business with employees, versus being the sole owner and operator of his business. When asked, why Kitchen Solvers, Scott replied, “I appreciated the fact that Kitchen Solvers franchise has the ability to do more than just kitchens. The staff has been extremely patient, helpful, and friendly. Zach has made the time to help me put together information for our visa process as well.”

With Scott’s experience, attention to detail, and business acumen, he’s a great fit into the Kitchen Solvers family. He has already started working with some of the other franchise owners to learn more about the culture and has completed his training with the Kitchen Solvers Home Office team in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The team knows he will thrive in the McKinney and Plano markets and create beautiful kitchens, while providing the best possible service. His core values are right in line with the Kitchen Solvers team and supporting his growth will be an honor. To learn more about Kitchen Solvers of McKinney and Plano, click here.
